Ladies, when is the last time you got dolled up and had a night on the town? Sadly for me, it's been a while. I've been hanging out indoors with the little ones in the most recent weekends, but I'm hoping things will change soon! This shifty southern weather is finally beginning to give us cool fall evenings, so I am preparing my fall wardrobe to follow suit. And since I have a few plans etched out on my calendar for the upcoming weeks, I decided to create a few looks on Polyvore for inspiration while out shopping. Check out the "dolled up" looks from my Fall Fashion Lookbook below.
Who doesn't love a tulle skirt? Every since I saw Kelis rocking a bright fuchsia tulle skirt in her spread for The Coveteur this spring, I've been wanting one for myself. And though spring has long gone, I figured I could pair this skirt with an oxblood cardigan to make this look more appropriate for fall. Then I added a few feminine touches with the Steve Madden Varcity Pump, soft pink cosmetics, and a splash of one of my favorite fragrances, Daisy by Marc Jacobs. This is definitely a look I would rock on a date with bae.. Lol. SN: Wanna snag this skirt for yourself? Be sure to grab it up over at ChicWish before it's gone!
When I saw this top I instantly fell in love, as it combines two of my favorite things--pink and leopard print. How can you go wrong with that combination? I just had to style this with some leather (and in the case of the pants, faux leather) to add a bit of edge to the look. And though this is a look that can easily be pulled together, I had to add an few extra elements of pink to the mix for good measure. Aren't these Kate Spade earrings the cutest? The Asos watch is looking like a winner and well, you guys know how I feel about hot pink lips. I had to bring MAC Candy Yum Yum Matte Lipstick out to play! I would totally rock this look for a fun night out with the girls. How about you?And have you tried the L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara yet?
Another color/style combination I like to bring out in the fall is royal blue and leopard. So for this look, I simply paired this figure-flattering wrap blouse with faux leather pants and these gorgeous leopard heels. And just because I have an obsession with dark matte lips, I added NARS Red Lizard to the mix. All you need to do is add your favorite gold accessories and pin those pretty locks of hair up in a bun and you're good to go! I'd probably rock this on a dinner date with my best girl. How about you?
Oxblood and camel is also one of my favorite fall color combinations. The number one item on my fall wishlist is a summer leather jacket similar to this one. I styled the jacket with an oxblood waffle knit top, denim trousers, and this trendy H&M faux leather and suede bag. And to give this look a personal touch, I added the tortoise reading glasses from J. Crew and this fab equestrian silk scarf. I'm rocking this look to the movies, to the hang out spot, out to dinner, and possibly on one of my holiday family visits--especially if I get my hands on this jacket. Where would you rock this look? SN: If you want these Chinese Laundry Suede Pumps, they are on sale at 6PM! Grab them up before they're gone!
