Everyday Makeup | Covergirl truNAKED Roses Eyeshadow Palette

Hello guys! I hope everyone has been having a beautiful spring so far! This season, I've been looking forward to swapping out my lipsticks and eyeshadow palettes to add bright, vibrant hues to my makeup bag. As someone who spends most of her time in the home, I don't wear a full face of makeup every single day. But I do love throwing on my usual neutral eye look with cat-eye and nude lips when I'm out and about.

Since I've been doing this look with my Covergirl TruNAKED Roses Eyeshadow Palette and Trust Fund Beauty Liquid Lipstick in K, Bye constantly, I decided to share it here with you guys. Below is everything I used for this look.
I usually start with my brows when doing my makeup. I lightly outline the shape of my brows with Jordana FabuBrow Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown and fill in any sparse areas with my Milani Brow Tint Pen in Dark Brown as well. Then with my concealer brush, I lightly "clean up" around my brows with MAC Studio Fix Concealer in NC42.

After priming my eyelids, I grab the Covergirl truNAKED Eyeshadow Palette in Roses and apply a quick eyeshadow look. I just add the rose shade (5th color from the left) on my lid and blend the deep sparkly plum shade (far right) into my crease. Then I define my eye with a precise line with Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper. It's amazing how much that one quick stroke of eyeliner changed this entire look, guys! I always love how it adds drama to my eyes. I also use a eyeliner brush to apply the deep plum shade to my lower lash line. Then I finish up the look with my Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara. I got both this mascara and the Kat Von D liner as samples in Ipsy bags.

And for my face, I started by priming with Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser. I always make sure to pay close attention to my cheeks, as that's where my pores show up most. I also added a light drop of my sample MAC Strobe Cream right above my cheeks where I would normally highlight. Then I stippled Mehron Celebre Pro HD Cream Foundation on my forehead, cheeks, and chin, then blended like a mad lady! This creme foundation is full coverage and a very little bit goes a long ways! But since it is a cream foundation, I set it with MAC MSF Natural in Dark to help cut the transferring. And to complete the look, I added a light contour from the Black Radiance True Complexion Contour Palette (not pictured but discussed here).

And for the final touch of this look, I applied Trust Fund Beauty Liquid Lipstick in "K, Bye" on my lips. "K, Bye" is a beautiful dusty rose shade, so I feel like it complements the looks I create with the Covergirl tru NAKED Roses Eyeshadow Palette really well. Because this is a liquid lipstick that dries to an "almost matte," I made sure to exfoliate my lips beforehand. And to keep the lipstick from moving (or looking mute on my skintone) I lightly lined my lips with Jordana Easyliner in Coco Loco (not pictured).
