Everyday Spring Beauty Look

Hello guys! Here it is the end of May, and I finally feel like I'm getting into the groove of Spring. The weather has been warm and sunny (with the exception of a few showers this week), and I'm loving wearing vibrant shades to celebrate the season. Keeping my vow to rock simple makeup and nude lips most days, I've fallen into the habit of grabbing the same makeup items. And since I've already shared this look with you guys on Facebook and Instagram, I decided I'd share all the details here on the blog.

This beauty look takes about 10-15 minutes to do and features a new product I've tested and come to like. Can you guess what it is? Keep reading to find out more.

For starters, I applied Pixi by Petra Rose Flash Bomb as a primer to my cleansed face. Then I groomed my brows by filling in sparse areas with my Jordana FabuBrow Eyebrow Pencil in Midnight Brown and cleaned up around my brows with a concealer brush and my MAC Studio Fix concealer.

Next, I applied all my eye makeup. I used Ruby Kisses Eyeshadow Primer (which is an awesome dupe for Urban Decay Primer Potion) all over my lids. After priming, I pulled out my beloved Juvia's Place Masquerade Palette and created a simple eyeshadow look. Calabar and Casablanca stole the show, with Burkina serving as my transition color and Dahia placed in the inner corners of my eye.

To complete the eye makeup, I created a fine line to my upper lid with my Ciate Fierce Flicks Liquid Liner .and ColourPop Creme Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Black to the lower lash. Oh, and let me add that I coated my lashes with this dope sampler DiorShow Mascara I recently got from Sephora to take my nearly non-existent lashes to the next level!

Next, I applied the Marc Jacobs Shameless 24-Hour Foundation that I told you guys about on Instagram. I used my Sigma Foundation Brush to stipple the foundation on. This foundation isn't full coverage, but is very buildable. I started applying to my dark spots first, then stippled on more around my face lightly, blending as I applied. I really like this foundation and just might grab up a full-sized bottle soon!

After applying the foundation, I set my it with MAC Mineralized Skinfinish Natural in Dark. While this foundation doesn't call for a setting powder, I always use one out of habit. As someone with oily skin, I've just been in the practice of using a setting powder, no matter what. I then added light highlight and contour from my Black Radiance True Complexion Contour Palette.

To finish up my look, I swipe an application of ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in Echo Park to my lips. And since I was going for a glossy nude lip, I applied ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lip in Steelo from the ColourPopxEllarie collection.

I've been wearing this makeup combination for the last couple of weeks, so I thought I would share it with you guys. There's nothing like a fresh pop of color in your makeup (and even hair) to help you get into the mood for spring!
