Trying new beauty products will never get old to me. And receiving beautiful PR packages from the likes of Pixi Beauty are one of the reasons why. When I received the Pixi Glow in a Box a few weeks ago, I was so enamored by the packaging, I almost didn't want to open it!
Have you ever heard stories about moms buying their small children expensive toys only for them to play with the boxes? One of those small children could have easily been me the day this package was delivered. Seriously, I marveled at the pretty fuchsia glitter-encrusted case for hours (and dared anyone in the house to touch it) before I finally decided to stop being a kid and open it. And of course my eyes grew even wider with excitement as I pulled item after item from the beautifully crafted box.

Now if you've been reading here on the blog for a while, you already know how I feel about all things "glow." I tend to get awestruck by beauty products that promise to bring forth the beloved "glow" I'm looking for, especially in my complexion and beauty looks. So when I saw that the Pixi Glow in a Box had liquid eyeshadows AND highlighters to complement my beauty looks this season, I couldn't wait to share them with you guys! In this package, I received the 5 Pixi Liquid Fairy Lights liquid eyeshadows and the 2 Pixi Glow-y Gossamer Duos highlighters ideal for giving us that glow we often crave.
From left to right, the Liquid Fairy Lights are available in five shades: Crystalline, SunRay, RoseGold, Barebrilliance, and PassionLight.
These liquid eyeshadows are such a pretty glittery sight, if I should say so myself. Each of them has the power to bring an otherwise bland eyeshadow look to life with just a slight application to the lids (with the wand or your index finger). I recommend layering them on top of your everyday powder eyeshadow for a pigmented pop of glow!
They're infused with chamomile and rose extracts, which is a plus for someone like me who gets easily irritated in the eyes during summer months.

Next up are these pretty Glow-y Gossamer Duos in (from left to right) Subtle Sunrise and Delicate Dew. Both of these products aim to give you a "glow from within look" and I believe they do just that. Although they are powder highlighters, the creamy feel of the finish makes them apply and blend so smoothly. And with a slight or heavy hand (as these are buildable), you can get the level of glow your heart desires.
